I have known Dan for 52 years; we were students at NYU. Both of us were returned Peace Corps volunteers.
The Dan Leahy of today differs little from the man I met in grad school; wiser, more experienced and weathered but essentially he is what he was then. By that I mean he has never deviated from or lessened his commitment to truth, justice and advocacy for the people that struggle for economic security and equity.
He is as the song goes, “as constant as the northern star” and my lifelong friend.
He is a true Mick.
